Arpoador is the surf break right between of Rio's most famous neighborhoods, Copacabana & Ipanema. Arpoador features a massive rock where people watch the sunset. There is also a wide selection of food & drink options. The local surf scene is vibrant & out of town surfers are generally well received, especially when patronizing a local school like Good Waves.
