Arpoador is the surf break right between of Rio's most famous neighborhoods, Copacabana & Ipanema Arpoador features a massive rock where people watch the sunset and a wide selection of food & drink options. There is a vibrant local surf scene & out of town surfers are generally well received, especially when patronizing a local surf school like Good Waves.
